2. Carla Herrod – from Wilston in Brisbane . Carla was a finalist in the 2005 Golden Guitar Awards. Carla comes from the Queensland bush town of Hughenden .

3. Keira Connelly – from Taree, NSW. She has performed locally in Taree and won several vocal awards at Taree and District Eisteddfods.

4. Sandra Humphries – from Mt Gambier in South Australia . Been performing since 18 and was awarded the Tamworth Independent Artist – Female Vocalist of 2004.

5. Stacey Morris – from Kiama Downs, NSW south coast. Winner of the Frank Ifield International Spur Award and Telstra Female Vocalist of the Year.

Following up from her TIARA Award win for Independent Female Vocalist of the year 2004, on Tuesday,
January 18th, 2005; Sandra received her second TIARA Award, for her vocal collaboration with Bill Chambers “ Love on the Side”.
The album “ Every Road”, produced by Bill Chambers, as predicted has made the name “ Sandra Humphries” a name
now known to many in the Country Music Industry.

Friday November 5th,Sandra was announced as a finalist for the
"ACMLA PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS"
to be announced in Tamworth on Thursday 20th January 2005.
The nomination sees Sandra's name along side "Industry Greats"
Kasey Chambers, Melinda Schneider, Felicity & Sara Storer.
OTHER NEWS
In October 2004, SANDRA released her second single from the album "EVERY
ROAD" on NFS 91.
The new single " FROM THE HEART" is an acoustic track, FEATURING Rod
McCormack on acoustic guitar & the fine vocals of Rob Wilson on harmony.

The song won Sandra "INDEPENDENT FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR" at the
prestigious TIARA AWARDS", held in Tamworth January 2004.

Sandra also received 2 Top 10 nominations at the Victorian & National
Country Music Awards, 2004.

The album "EVERY ROAD" also took out " INDEPENDENT ALBUM OF THE YEAR" AT THE
2003 TSA, Tasmanian & New Zealand songwriting Awards.

As predicted " Sandra Humphries" is becoming a name now known by many in the
Country Music Industry.

Sandra is currently working on gathering songs for her much anticipated
follow up album to "Every Road", with hopes that a new album will be
released late 2005.

Sandra TIARA, FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR 2004

On Tuesday night January 20th 2004, at the West Tamworth Leagues club, SA born country music singer Sandra Humphries was announced as Female Vocalist of the year 2004 at the annually held TIARA s ( Tamworth Independent Artist Awards). The song “From the Heart” is from her Debut album “Every Road”.

The tough field of nominations for the award were Karen Lynne, Tanya Self, Kerri McInerney and Sally-Anne Whitten.


Sandra was also nominated in the Top 5 TIARA Songwriting Section with her co-written title track “Every Road”, penned with Fiona Holliday.

The award follows an exciting year for Sandra who released her first Solo Album “Every Road” in April 2003, produced by Bill Chambers.

Sandra collected “ALBUM OF THE YEAR” in September 2003, in the TSA, Tasmanian & New Zealand Independent Awards.

Sandra also received 2 Top 10 Nominations for the Victorian & National Country Music Awards for 2004

With these accomplishments under her belt in just 9 short months its no wonder the bookings coming in hard and fast for 2004,and the release of the first single “Wait a minute”, released in December 2003 on NFS #85 Track 15, is expected to create even more interest, Sandra is certainly an act you have to catch up with and “Every Road” is a must have for “True Country” fans.
