17 yr old Sujata Allen came a very close second with younger sister Jhana following in 3rd(they are all from The Gypsy HotClub - NEW CD JUST OUT!! "Dragon Fly Cafe" Inquire with the 2003

9 yr old Emily Little (a Tamworth local) received a junior award of the 3/4 model version
from Epoch. This new award was inspired by Emily's performance and we thank Epoch for their
continued sponsoring & support of our young Fiddlers.

Sat 17th Wild Fiddle Night
All will revolve around the 2003 NoHoldsBarred Fiddle Champions – The Gypsy Hot Club – a year older, wiser & wilder. They were last years favourites and now watch them cut loose with assorted fiddlers of the Tamworth Festival.

Sun 18th Night of Harmonica
Champion – Christian Marsh with Supper Club favourite Tony Eyers guide us through the extremes of this versatile instrument – Country to Jazz, Bluegrass, Celtic to Blues with a wealth of the Festivals harp players.

Mon 19th - Michael Fix vs Supper Club Jam - an even win all round!

Tue 20th The Girls Night
All to be said is “She was sold out last year. Better buy this one early!” 10 acts - (Special 7pm guest : Roshani Priddis )
But at 10pm we had the magic company of Leah Briggs, Kate McCarthy & Jenny Shimmin, Kata Hay (Oklahoma), Stephanie Eldridge, PuYu Macleod (Taiwan), Sophie Raymond, Leslie Avril, Hannah (my fav from 2003 night )

Wed 21st Two Features
7pm Fingerstyle Guitar – A History by Tim Rickhards
Front bar favourite, Tim has the gift of story telling and guitar technique to make this an essential night for all country guitar fans. Assisted by players from across Australia - Mal Clarke (Bullamakanka), Jeffro (The Bourkenback Boys) and surprise hot player Ross (more info later).

10pm Trevors ‘Knight’! – “Spirit of the Eagle” showcase
Presenting John Denver’s music and the story of his complex life through the three decades of his career, plus Trev’s own eight years as a guest star on Ray Martin’s Midday Show, two Golden Guitar awards for the song “The Days of Old Khancoben” and the album with Smoky Dawson “High Country”

Thu 22nd Night of the Piano
Often up to 10 piano players and many pianos & keyboards on stage for this classic event. Special guests this time included a rare ‘French’ side to Leslie Avril, Parris & PuYu Macleod,Quentin Eyers, Darren Mullan, Leslie Avril, Ezra Matzenik and the classic Peter Horan.

Fri 23rd only one evening show - 9pm Night of Slide – A Special 3 hrs!
All walks of Pedal Steel, Dobro, Lap Steel, Acoustic Slide to slip the night away. This time featuring Bruce Reid (Canada - playing Ry Cooder's Paris , Texas style ), Gary Brown with friends, Simon & Kata Hay(USA), with the consumate Matt Hanley (electric in the tradition of Little Feat's Lowell George)

Sat 24th 10pm Ultimate Swing Night
Our Best kept Secret! The 4th year gathering of the best Swing in town – various specialty guests Oceania (double Sax & Double bass - very cool, plus Sophie Raymond with George Washingmachine adding to the final swing of it all.

Supper Club sublime regulars Parris & PuYu (Taiwan) Macleod on Piano & Flute and some perfect drums from Randall Wilson (Tamworth) in a 78 minute expose at the musical frontier of The
Supper Club. We are very proud of this capture displaying much of the spice always seen cooking
between the musicians at Sup Club (a 'Fringe Festival' now at the North Tamworth Bowlo in
January's CM Festival and then again within May/ June and Oct/ Nov depending on tours.
