The 6th annual Adelaide City Muster is your HOT ticket event for the
ultimate in contemporary and country performance at the Adelaide
Entertainment Centre on Saturday 22 July.
Lee Kernaghan cranks up the volts at the premiere of his latest Gold album
The New Bush during the Outback to the Bush concert. Our #1 act has a
powerful stage presence and unique connection to his audience and Lee’s set
includes a high-octane reprise of mainstream and country hits.
Pete Murray’s Opportunity, Security and Better Days (from his 2nd multi
Platinum album See The Sun) and other massive hits from his debut 6-times
Platinum album Feeler are a constant on the musical landscape. Don’t miss
Pete’s timeless lyrics and signature grooves with band The Stone Masons on
their return to Australia for the Adelaide City Muster following a massive
European tour.
Current CMAA Female Vocalist of the Year Sara Storer’s compelling stories
have earned her a mantel of major awards and this is your chance to rock
back with songs from her current album Firefly.
2006 Starmaker Cat Southern comes home to launch her EP Last First Kiss at
the Adelaide City Muster and will be in the foyer during intermission for
signings.
Doors open at 6pm and your MC is musician, comedian and broadcaster Greg

The Adelaide City Muster is the ‘hot ticket’ family event on the country
music calendar and the spectacular lineup of headline acts on the main stage

Each act performs concert length sets with their own bands and will
be introduced by musician, comedian and broadcaster Greg Champion.
Lee Kernaghan is back on the road with his long awaited album The New Bush.
Lee’s concert set is the Adelaide premiere of this awesome new material and
will include previous hits. See why Lee has sold over a million albums, was
named Hit Maker of the Decade and is the recipient of 20 Golden Guitars. A
powerful presence on stage with a unique connection to a country crowd,
Lee’s set will be pumping so buckle up…..you're in for a wild ride!
Pete Murray returns to Australia for the Adelaide City Muster with his
backing band the Stone Masons, following performances in London, Dublin,
Manchester, Moscow and Holland. This is your Opportunity to experience
Pete’s moody roots, signature grooves and timeless lyrics from his latest
and already 3-times Platinum album See The Sun. Pete’s rich voice and
soulful melodies are a constant on the contemporary musical landscape. His
debut six-times Platinum album Feeler still maintains a place in the ARIA
Top 50 Album Chart, with See The Sun
re-entering the Top 10 six months after release.
Sara Storer is the current CMAA Female Vocalist of the Year for the song
Firefly, the title track to her current album. A mallee girl, Sara’s natural
stage presence and compelling stories of the bush and its characters have
earned her a total of 9 Golden Guitars. At the invitation of the Prime
Minister John Howard, Sara was the only artist to perform at a luncheon for
Her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth 2nd and 1200 guests including Heads of State,
during the Commonwealth Games “because she is considered quintessentially
Australian and a songwriter who sings in her own voice”.
Cat Southern is originally from South Australia and crowned 2006 Star Maker
in January.
She has spent the last 3 years away from home establishing a career in
country music and toured with the Brian Young Show. Her star is definitely
on the rise through the single
Big Girl Now from the EP So Far, she’s just signed to ABC Music AND scored a
lead role in the RM Williams Australian Outback Spectacular on the Gold
Coast.
Greg Champion has produced a uniquely Australian body of work from I Made
100 in the Backyard at Mum’s to his 15th album The Shack Tapes and books on
the Wisdom of Guru Bob. He may also have crossed your radar as an ABC
broadcaster on Travelling Idlers and the cultural institution Coodabeen
Champions. Caught in the crossfire between country and comedy, Champs comes
home to MC the Adelaide City Muster.
