Hits the # 1 spot on CMC

- That makes it two in a row!
The clip for "Mexican Lady" raced up the CMC top 20 to hit the # 1
spot this week.
"Mexican Lady" was hot on the heels of Col's first clip, "My
Place" which also shot to the # 1 spot.
Col is absolutely delighted and agrees the fun he had in making
both these clips has shown through and believes that helps make
them fun to watch too.
Jason Millhouse who shot, directed and edited both Col's clips
deserves a huge pat on the back.
We can't wait to see what they come up with for the next clip!

"Spices it up a little"
Col Finley's release of his 4th single "Mexican Lady" off
his current album "Only The Truth" is set to showcase yet another
side to this talented singer/songwriter. Released on NFS 95, track
6 "Mexican Lady" is a sultry song that oozes sex appeal which is
sure to please Col's lady fans. The clip for " Mexican Lady" is
due to air on CMC in the next few weeks and following the success
of Col's "My Place" clip hitting the number one spot and is still
in the top 20 after 18 weeks the hope is the same for "Mexican
Lady"

- Well Col is very busy at present. He is thrilled with the
success of his " My Place" clip on CMC and is currently # 8 after
achieving the # 1 spot a few weeks ago. Col has just shot his clip
for his next single " Mexican Lady" the clip will be aired in
about 3 weeks on CMC and the radio single will be released on NFS
95. In addition to all that Col is busy writing for his next
album, which he hopes to start recording in the next month or so.

Col’s debut clip, My Place hit the #1 spot this week on CMC's top
20. Col has dreamt of this moment for a very long time and he
can't quite believe it has happened.

“My Place” clip hits No.3 spot this week on CMC.
Hot on the heels of a very successful Tamworth Festival,
Col is on a high this week with his debut clip right up there on
the CMC Most Requested list.
Col played a number of packed shows at Tamworth as well as a
highly successful stint at the ABC Exhibition trailer where he
shared the stage with Sara Storer, Starmaker winner Samantha
McClymont and Jake Nikolai.
Plans are already underway for his next clip which should hit CMC
around April, coinciding with his next single release. In the
meantime we are all waiting with anticipation to see if Col's "My
Place" can climb to the number 1 spot !!!

MY PLACE
So much more than just a great song!!!
Col Finley’s has just completed a fantastic video for his
current single "My Place" and it will be aired on CMC as of this
week. The clip is fun and humorous and captures the lighter side
of Col. " My Place " has also been added to a scholastic project
which will be sent to most schools through Australia next year.
Col hopes to visit schools in areas while on tour with his "MY
PLACE SHOW" and talk to children about songwriting and the country
music industry.
To add to this list, "My Place" is going to be the theme of Col’s
shows at Tamworth festival and Col plans to tour this show through
2005. Fans are in for a treat when they catch this show at
Tamworth Services Club as it is full of special guests and is
based around a live TV show. Of course Col will be performing his
unique brand of music along with lots of surprises. This show is a

2005 is set to be Col Finley’s year with his Tiara nominations, an

The song ‘Devil’s Ride’, by leading independent country
music artist Col Finley, is to be featured in the upcoming full
length Australian feature film, ‘Wolf Creek’.
- A horror thriller set in the Outback, ‘Wolf Creek’ is to be
released next year.
“The song, ‘Devil’s Ride’ is from one of my very first CD’s,”
explained Col who has just relocated to Brisbane because of the
increasing demands of live work and album promotion for his
current release ‘Only the Truth’. “I was really surprised when I
got the call – and I’m not sure yet whether to be flattered or
worried!”
Col Finley’s songs have been in extra demand lately – ‘My Place’,
the incredibly popular single from the new album, has just been
included in the ABC’s educational music series ‘Sing’ which is
distributed to schools and schoolchildren nationally as both a
book and CD.
A video clip for ‘My Place’ has also just been shot while Col
continues to enjoy great airplay support from radio across the
country earning him a well-deserved placing in the national
Country Airplay chart.
With nine shows booked for Tamworth, it’s going to be hard to
avoid the music of Col Finley – and that’s how the fans like it!

- It gives me great pleasure to introduce this long awaited, highly flavored album from Col Finley “Only The Truth”.
It is the best collection of songs written by Col Finley and also
featuring co-writes with some of the most talented songwriters
from across the world. (available at all music stores)
Col has always produced a high standard of recording, underlined
by his past awards and chart successes, and backed up with
high-energy live shows. Col is rated as one of the hardest working
independents today - “Australia best kept secret” and now signed
to ABC Publishing and Michael Flanders Management.
The Australian leg of his “Only The Truth” tour starts on the 7th
March 2004 on the Gold Coast and travels south east, until Col
flies into Austin Texas for the prestigious music industry event,
South by South West Festival. Col then travels onto Nashville to
finish his trip with shows at the legendary Blue Bird Café, The
Douglas Corner and The Tin Roof, showcasing his songwriting and
the new album.
Then its back down under to finish his tour through Australia,
which will see Col head from Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, North
Coast and back to Brisbane. From there Col Finley will continue
north to perform though the top end, Western Australia, Northern
Territory, finishing his Australian marathon with a huge show at
Gatton Qld.
Then it’s back on the plane to the USA to finish the American tour
with a group of 20 Col Finley fans for an unforgettable, fun
filled trip through LA, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, St Louis,
winding up the tour with shows in St Louie and Nashville and a
visit to the House of Blues.
The success so far of “Only The Truth” here in Australia is just a
small indication of where it’s headed across the world. First week
of release saw over 250 albums sell in 5 days.
