- Hi guy’s how you going… What an absolute fantastic time we
had,
in opening the Hats Off To Country Festival at the Central Hotel
this year !!
******************
Was great to be back on stage with the boys and be able to play
our own style of
music, hard hitting country rock ! The guys were awesome once
again…
Pete Dyball >> Lee Willsher >> Michael Fulton
We did some of my Originals, some Covers and we also had a few
tender
moments !
It was all heaps of fun and a lot of laughs right throughout both
nights !
And all of us now... Are still wearing a smile from ear to ear ☺
Thanks to everyone that came out in the cold and supported us, it
was great to
see so many familiar faces amongst the crowd ! Those of you being
the ones that
support me mid year as a solo artist ! It’s good to have that
little bit of variety
and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did !!
* Wasn’t all work though… We hung out at the Central to catch Dan
Mureau
and the Contractors and also the Jason Lee Band ! We mingled,
drank lots of
Beer & Bundy and partied - The Huckleberry Swedes danced at our
gig- So we
jumped in a cab headed out to The Pub and enjoyed a few more
drinks with
friends and caught the last set from The Huckleberry Swedes… A
perfect way
to end the night, they where great !
*During my stay at Tamworth this time, I caught up with publicans
from all
over the place… The Pub >> The Central >> The Tudor >> and all
going well,
- I/ We’ll have a busy Country Music Festival in January 2007
!
-
- { Rod & The Bundy Girls }
-
- *Also through this newsletter you’ll see that the band has
been named “But”
Rod has just informed me that it was only a fun name for the
Nelsons Bay Gig !
So negotiations are now under way for the real deal to have the
band named by the time Tamworth 2007 gets here ! Any ideas ???
