- Full houses for The
Young Balladeers
- Big mobs turned out to see The Young
Balladeers at The Pub.
Matt, Amos, Nathan and Dan form a line of youthful enthusiasm
across The Pub stage.

- If you had ventured out to The Pub on
Saturday, July 8 around noon, you could have been forgiven for
thinking it was January instead of July.
With cars lined up along Dampier St and Gunnedah Rd, and an
overflowing carpark, it could only mean one thing. Something
special was happening inside the “spiritual home of country music
in Tamworth”.
And special it was. The favourite sons of traditional country were
back … The Young Balladeers.
Amos Morris, Matt Manning, Nathan Charlton and Dan Manning are a
self-contained unit gaining a huge following in Australian country
circles, and their popularity was more than evident for Hats Off
to Country audiences.
After each performance each of the Young Balladeers was kept busy
at the merchandise table, signing CDs and photos and getting to
know their fans – who came in their hundreds.
On Sunday, the boys had an extra special VIP in the audience – Joy
McKean, who is one of their biggest fans.
Joy loves the fact that the boys are continuing to keep the ballad
tradition alive – and doing a great job of it too!
- Amos, Matt, Nathan and Dan, with Joy
McKean, after the last in their series
- of Hats Off concerts at The Pub.
- Amos Morris and Nathan Charlton – on
