Rob Luckey
& the Lucky Bastards
Rob Luckey and the Lucky Bastards are the
remaining members from the well known Sydney honky tonk, blues,
western swing band, the Helldorados. With the addition of great
musicians in Jeff Mercer and Joel Davis, the honky tonk sound
doesn’t get much better than this. The music they play is a mix of
originals and covers in the style of the great American roots
music players of the 40’s , 50’s and 60’s - Bob Wills, Merle
Haggard, Carl Perkins, Junior Brown. Local influences and friends
include the Detonators, Satellite V, the Whiteliners, Johnny
Green’s Blues Cowboys, and Andy Baylor’s Cajun Combo.
The band's new album 'Hungry Man', has just been released.

Thanks for your support of the Bastards
over the last year.
Rob Luckey and the Lucky Bastards are off to Tamworth again this
year and will mainly be playing at Wests Outback Bar.
This year the line-up is Rob Luckey, Lachlan Dengate (drums), Nick
Summers (pedal Steel), Jeff Mercer (guitar) and Smithy (bass).
We have a brand new album out in time for Tamworth called HUNGRY
MAN, featuring more originals than other releases. We've had some
great feedback on it so far....
