- Jodie Crosby, right, introduced some terrific writers to the
Services Club
stage on Saturday, including Golden Guitar winner Deniese Morrison,
left,
who showcased some brand new songs
- The multi-talented Luke O'Shea backed up for the songwriters'
gig on
Saturday, after a HUGE night on Friday with his band at the same
venue
- Phil Doublet showed he's not only a great guitarist, but can
write an
awesome song or two - he shared The Keeper with the appreciative
audience on
Saturday afternoon
- Phil Doublet had a handy (and cute) back-up singer and
guitarist in Luke
O'Shea
- Rod Dowsett had a busy dancecard on Saturday, but managed to
slip in the
songwriters' gig between Sam Smyth's early morning show at the bowlo
and his
own band gig that night at The Tudor.
- Those Gals - from left, Kerry Walsh, Wendy Wood and Carolyne
Morris - shared
three songs with the Services club audience, before zipping off to
their gig
at the Tudor Saturday afternoon.
Brenda Lee Heathcote claimed to be 'rusty' in the singing
department, but
her songs were still as awesome as ever. It was great to see and
hear Brenda
back in Tamworth, where she is much missed by her musical family
Tamworth's Tad Kiemski said he hadn't sung in ages, but that voice
certainly
came through loud and clear - and his songs went down well with the
crowd at
the Services
- Tamworth singer-songwriter Matt O'Leary sang a few of his
classy original
tunes before playing guitar for the lovely Deniese Morrison during
her set
It was catch-up time for these three musical friends at the Blue Dog
TIARA
Songwriters' gig at the Services club - Rob Breese, Ollie Agostino
and
Brenda Lee Heathcote
- The Hunter Valley Musical Appreciation Society was out in
force, enjoying gigs all over town -
- from left, Nev and Kay Richter and Rhonda and Greg
Astill. They're pictured here at
- the Services club for the songwriter show
Maria Gruer, Jenny Tilbrook and Tracey Bell were caught enjoying
themselves
immensely at the Blue Dog TIARA Songwriters' show at Tamworth
Services Club
- Jason Kemp and Wanita were two of the super songwriters on
deck at this great gig. Wanita, who said she
- doesn't consider herself a songwriter, blew everyone away
with two fabulous originals,
- Since They've Changed the Rules and an absolute classic
- If There's A Honky
- Tonk In Hell, Someone Kill Me!
