Mick James and the Desert Men were a big hit at the Tudor, playing Thursday,
Friday and Saturday mornings to a huge mob of fans.  That's quite a musical instrument Mick is playing - and he does it with
style

Amber Lawrence had a good crowd in to help her launch her new album in
Legends bar at Wests. The delightful Barbara Baillie played guitar and sang
backing vocals in Amber's band.
As well as introducing all his fabulous guests, Sam Smyth spun a yarn or two
himself, much to the delight of the audience.  This was the first time Sam brought his
popular January show to Hats Off and was delighted with the turnout.

Rod Dowsett was the 'balladeer' component in Sam Smyth's show at the City
Bowlo and sang some great originals.

Bill Kearns knows how to spin a yarn or two and did just that at the City Bowlo.   John Lloyd was funnier than a circus, telling stories with his quick, dry wit and reciting some wonderful bush poetry.
