new quality artists to come on board.
Hillcrest is a Radio Marketing
company servicing country radio in 26 countries around the world. We
service Australia and New Zealand as well with many of Australian
country artists. All very successfully.
We have had several charted songs from
Australia with Clelia Adams, Michael Fix, Nick Cesta, Danny Mack, Nicki
Gillis, Jean Stafford, etc. Jean's "Steelin' the 2 Step" peaked at
#2 on the ECMA Charts and is still on the chart after 15 weeks. Our
March CD features, Nicki Gillis, Nelly Donovan, Michael Fix, Ann Pascoe
(NZ), and perhaps more.
Our last CD featured Michael O'Rourke, Steven Anthony, Beggars, etc.

NAMED 2006 “COUNTRY PROMOTER OF THE YEAR” BY
THE EUROPEAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION
NEW YORK CITY (JULY 10, 2006) – Ross Allen the owner and manager of
Hillcrest, the premier multi-artist Country Music Radio disc, has been
named "COUNTRY PROMOTER OF THE YEAR" for 2006 by the European Country
Music Association (ECMA). Festivities were held in Palafrugell, Spain on
Saturday, July 8, 2006. Attendance was high with artists and industry
people from Holland, the UK, Germany, and Spain attending.
Upon receiving the news of being named “COUNTRY PROMOTER OF THE YEAR,”
Ross stated “I am truly honoured and overwhelmed to have been chosen as
promoter of the year for 2006 by the ECMA members who voted for me.”
Founded in 1992 by singer/songwriter, producer and recording artist,
Ross Allen, the Cambridge, Ontario, Canada-based Hillcrest multi-artist
disc has gained the respect of recording artists, radio stations, record
labels, studios, producers, and promoters from all over the world.
The key focus for Hillcrest is to get the recording artists heard and
played on country radio.
The Hillcrest multi-artist CD series caters to country radio stations
and music directors who play, support, and respect the eclectic sounds
of today's country music. Each Hillcrest CD contains a selection of
top-notch pre-screened radio friendly songs from a variety of country
and acoustic based music genres. Key industry executives receptive to
working with both independent and signed artists are serviced as well.
At this point in time Hillcrest has had over 650 charted singles to show
for their efforts. Many artists from the Hillcrest family have gone on
to secure writing, publishing, and recording deals with various major
labels. 90% of the artists who release singles on Hillcrest, have a
commercially available album for sale.

Earlier this month Hillcrest released it’s latest multi-artist disc to
country radio worldwide. Artists included on this disc are Lonnie Spiker
(USA), Marlee Scott (Canada), Nick Cesta (Australia), Jean Stafford
(Australia), Arly Karlsen (Norway), Clelia Adams (Australia), Mike Lee
(USA), Sherry Lynn (USA), Michael Fix (Australia), Debbie Bergeron
(Canada), Steve Roberson (USA) and Glenn Reid (Canada).
Hillcrest’s next multi-artist compilation disc will be released in
September 2006.
