Once again Kasey has proved that she can truly be called a star as her
adoring fans packed the Belmont 16ft Sailing Club to the rafters.
The night began with another rising star, Catherine Britt, who sang the
songs off her new CD "Dusty Smiles and Heartbreak
Cures" which
has 7 originals and
a great duet with Bill Chambers. This album is now available and
is well worth buying. Kasey sang songs off her new album "Barricades
& Brickwalls", "The Captain", and more. The
backing band consisted of Kasey's dad, multi instrumentalist, Bill Chambers,
with Jeff McCormack on bass, B J Barker on drums and Glen Hannah
on lead guitar. A special moment during the show occurred when Kasey's
mum, Dianne, and brother Nash, joined Kasey and Bill, on stage and for a
couple of songs they once again became the The Dead Ringer Band.
Kasey also sang a duet with Catherine, with excellent harmonies and it was
terrific to see the amount of people singing along and thoroughly enjoying
the concert. A very pleasing night.
